1. DEPENDENT ON THE PRESENCE AND POWER OF GOD
We believe that God is everywhere (Presence) and is almighty (Powerful) and that His Presence and Power are essential in fulfilling the
Great Commission. Therefore, our existence, life and work are dependent on God’s presence and power. (Ex. 33:12-17; Matt 28:18-20)
2. AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is without error and that it is the inspired Word of God. Therefore, it is the subject matter of our study, the authority
for our belief and the standard for our conduct. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
3. RELIANCE ON PRAYER
We believe that God desires his people to pray and that he hears and answers prayers. Therefore, we rely on private and public prayer in
all ministries and activities of this church. (Luke 11:1-13; James 5:13-18)
4. AUTHENTIC WORSHIP
We believe that God is the center and focus of our worship. Therefore, we express this through a lifestyle that includes praying, singing,
listening, giving, testifying, trusting, obeying His Word, among many others. (John 4:24; Acts 2:47,Rom 12:1)
5. CONNECTING PEOPLE TO GOD
We believe that all people matter to God and He desires men and women to be reconciled to Him (2 Cor. 5:14-21). Therefore, we will
use every available Christ honoring means to pursue, win and reconcile people to the faith. (Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, John 3:16)
6. SPIRITUAL MATURITY
We believe followers of Jesus Christ should grow in their relationships with Him. Therefore, we will accomplish this through ongoing
discipleship, mentoring, small groups and formal training in the Bible for all. (Eph. 4:11-16; 1 Cor. 3:1-3)
7. CHRIST-CENTERED FELLOWSHIP
We believe God desires for us to be a church that demonstrates genuine love, care and concern for people. Therefore, we will develop
Christ honoring relationships where accountability and connectivity will take place. (Acts 2:44-46; 2 Cor. 6:11)
