1. The Bible is God’s Word.
The Scriptures are inspired by God and declare His purpose and plan for man (II Timothy 3:16).
2. There is One True God.
The one true God has revealed to man the "Trinity" of His being…God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (II Corinthians 13:14).
3. The Fall of Man.
Man was created by God good and upright. However, after willfully choosing to break God’s command a sinful nature and lost condition now
exists for all man (Romans 3:23, 5:12-19).
4. The Restoration of Man.
God the Son, Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary came to earth. He lived a sinless life becoming the sacrifice that enabled man to be restored to relationship with God the Father. Every person can now experience salvation by accepting Christ’s offer of forgiveness through repentance and faith
(Romans 10:13-15).
5. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
A separate experience apart from salvation. It's main purpose is for empowerment for service (Acts 1:8) and a personal prayer language (1 Cor 14:2). The proof of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance (Acts 2:4). This experience will also result in a greater boldness and power to share your faith (Acts 2:1-4).
6. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit.
The gifts of the Spirit are active in the body of Christ and will remain active until the second coming of Christ. These include words of wisdom, words of
knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning spirits, various kinds of tongues and the interpretation of tongues (I Corinthians
12).
7. The Second Coming of Christ.
One day soon all believers living and dead will be caught away (raptured) to Heaven to live together forever (I Thessalonians 4:16-18).
8. The Final Judgment.
Following the second coming of Christ a final judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be eternally separated from God (Revelation 20:11-15).
